With the festive season approaching, and the auspicious Dhanurmaas underway, the youth at Shree KS Swaminarayan Temple organised their annual fun-filled Christmas Activity week running from 18th-28th December 2011. This year, the theme was "My Maharaj - In me, Up there, Over here". The 2 week programme consisted of early morning bhajans (7.30am- 8.30am), an interactive morning learning session, aarti and finally a 2nd learning session.  The event was an overwhelming success, with over 40 participants. Competition between the 3 competing teams was intense as they all fought to win the title of Champions of XAW 2011. The winners will be announced shortly...

Shree KS Swaminarayan Community centre celebrated the achievements of their students at The Education Awards 2011, which was held on Saturday 3rd December 2011. This year was a great year on all fronts, with students excelling in Maths, English and Gujarati.

Diwali is the time of year where families, friends and communities come together to commemorate the forth coming year. The festival of light is celebrated with many firework, candles, gifts, Prasad from the Ankoot and most of all, enjoying each other's company. Come and join us on this joyous occasion for a day packed with excitement and help us make this year's celebrations bigger and better!
